Education and Plastic Surgery Training
Kamakshi R. Zeidler, MD, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Rice University in Houston, Texas. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), graduating in the top 5% of her class and earning membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Dr. Zeidler completed residencies in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship at UCSF. She was also selected for a clinical instructorship and microsurgery fellowship at Stanford University.

Dr. Zeidler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
She has co-authored a number of plastic surgery articles that have been accepted for publication in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Annals of Plastic Surgery. She is also currently involved in several research projects. As an expert in her field, Dr. Zeidler is frequently invited to present her research findings at medical conventions nationwide.
Dr. Zeidler serves on the board of Cancer Care Point, and is a past board member of the American Medical Women’s Association-South Bay Chapter. She belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Medical Society, the Santa Clara County Medical Association and the South Bay Chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association.
